Job Description:

​

We are seeking dynamic and self-motivated Business Protection Advisers to join our team on a self-employed, commission-only basis. In this role, you will be responsible for advising businesses on a range of protection products, including key person insurance, ownership and shareholder protection, business loan protection, Executive Income Protection and Relevant Life Plans. As a self-employed professional, you will have the autonomy to manage your own schedule and build lasting client relationships.

You will be currently working in Financial Services and will need to demonstrate your knowledge and qualifications in either the business protection, mortgage or wealth sector. You will already have exceeded targets and will need to demonstrate the highest levels of integrity and persistency.

Key Responsibilities:

​

1. Conduct in-depth assessments of businesses to identify key risks and protection needs.

2. Provide expert advice on tailored protection solutions to mitigate financial risks.

3. Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients through effective communication.

4. Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in business protection.

5. Proactively generate leads and identify new business opportunities within your network.

6. Collaborate with the support team to ensure seamless processing of applications.

7. Achieve and exceed sales targets, maximising commission earnings.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Previous experience as a Business Protection Adviser or in a related financial services role.

2. Relevant professional qualifications, such as DipFA or equivalent, are preferred.

3. Proven track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.

4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Strong networking abilities and a proactive approach to business development.

6. Knowledge of the UK business protection insurance market.

 

Earning Potential:

This role offers an uncapped commission structure with the potential to earn over £100,000 per year. Successful Business Protection Advisers will benefit from a competitive commission rate on sales and ongoing renewals.
